It’s another packed week for Holtville athletics as Bulldog teams take the court and field for a full slate of action from Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Thursday, Sept. 10.
Middle school football, volleyball, JV football, varsity flag football and varsity football will all be in action, giving Bulldog fans plenty of opportunities to support Holtville student-athletes throughout the week.
Tuesday, September 8
Tuesday kicks off a busy week with three Holtville teams in action.
The Holtville JV and varsity volleyball teams will host Booker T. Washington beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The Holtville Middle School football team will also be in action Tuesday, taking on Jemison Middle School at 5 p.m.
Later that evening, the Holtville JV football team will face Montgomery Academy. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at home.
With volleyball and two football matchups on the schedule, Tuesday will be a full evening of Bulldog athletics.
Wednesday, September 9
The Holtville varsity flag football team returns to action Wednesday for a home matchup against the Marbury Bulldogs.
The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
The Lady Dawgs will look to continue building momentum as they compete in front of the home crowd.
Thursday, September 10
Thursday will close out the busy stretch with both volleyball and varsity football in action.
Holtville’s JV and varsity volleyball teams will travel to face the Marbury Bulldogs beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Back in Holtville, the Bulldogs varsity football team will host the Elmore County Panthers in a Thursday-night matchup.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The varsity football game was moved to Thursday, giving Bulldog fans another opportunity to pack the stands and support the green and white under the lights.
